Generation Gap

today is the second day of chinese new year.

supposedly today is a great day with loads of festive mood in the air.

however it did not feel such to me.

for some reasons i felt burdened by the whole reunion atmosphere..

an unknown helplessness and a whole lot of obligations, expectations and responsibilities..

the generation had changed for far more than we even know..

the folks never will understand the world in our minds and hearts..

for reasons of exposure to different world views, education and the media that enhances our perception about lives and the all the while challenged thoughts..

your beliefs are no longer applicable to any people you deem applicable.

you have no rights to enforce your rule upon another no matter who you are..

this generation has proven its vulnerability to take its own life..

perhaps you don't understand why..

this generation is exposed to unbelievable networks of thoughts and cultures of what we name individualism..

we have seen human capacities to build a world his own that fulfills his or her desire of what a life should cover either in real or in virtual worlds by merely gathering people of similar thoughts and beliefs..

people like us as they call themselves have the power to veil their wands and build a more amazing world of their own because they feel the intense needs to create more meaning to their own lives..

i'm almost losing my words..

all i know is i don't feel the need to have a family..

they will never understand especially when all they see of life is a gift when what we see is a fine gray line between light and darkness..

make sure you bond with your children when they are still learning to pick up things in school, unless your kids are merely baggage of residue from your sexual pleasure, you don't want to end up incapable of being a part of their life as education and exposures remold their purview of life that leaves you miles behind..

remember one thing..

suicidal rates are ever higher these days especially in the younger generation and they exist for a reason.

it is not a trend nor a culture to live.

it is neither a revolution or a challenge to the authorities.

it is not an expression of freedom either..

it is just a dim light in the mind that tells him or her that life is not as beautiful as he or she imagined.

are you able to prove otherwise?

a note from the author of this blog... ... ... ...

i just want to see and feel the world more before my journey ends.

so should you.

life should be beautiful.

if it is necessary to leave the ones you love behind for awhile to experience the beauty of life, perhaps it's worth taking the steps.

you don't owe anyone a life, i'm sure even your beloved parents want you to be happy no matter how harsh they are to you.

happy festive season to all who celebrates any in the world today.

by the way today is 14th of february, HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY. ^^

Happy Chinese New Year!!!

I hope this year will be kinder to you and brings you all the good fortune and love. I hope you will get your wish to see more of the beautiful world and live life as you want it to be. To go on a journey on your own is good but it's always better when you have your family and friends to come home to.
