You Are Not Alone

To that special someone who needs that special attention or love..

dear friend,

i'm sorry i had not taken the time and effort to reach out to you..

at some point in time when things are running so fast and demanding so much of me, i overlooked the little things around me that made me who i am..

i hope you understand that i too had been through that phase..

had i not decided to open all the windows and doors to see what the world has to offer out there..

had i not given that little selfishness to love myself a little more..

had i not reserved that tiny ME in a little corner to allow other things to occupy my life..

i know how you feel now..

that everything you have worked on and are doing are drawing little meaning to you..

that the single word EMPTINESS seems so clinging like a parasite that wants badly enough to devour you..

is it a demon sent to take away your spirit?

or an angel sent to test your readiness to offer life?

let me assure you i felt miserably empty and had thoughts of suicidal before too..

but thankfully i never gave up in life..

for some reason i believe suicidal does not end your journey of emptiness..

it will only make it stronger..

life is not about you or me..

if you understand it, life is about the people you complemented..

when left alone, life indeed means no more than a dead..

we live not for ourselves but for the people we love..

trust me..

if ever you decide to leave because you feel miserably empty or lonely..

you will feel worse when dead..

you are now given the opportunity to live in a space where there are billions of opportunity to reach out to different individuals..

when you're dead, you might be left in a new space that has totally no reachable lives to touch and connect to..

no matter how you scream and fight the space you're entrapped inside..

you might not be able to stretch your arms far enough to reach into human's world..

think again if you feel empty..

take some time off from your day or your life and try to spend the time making another person's day..

you'll be surprised how much it means to touch another person's life when you can give and share the simplicity of time and soul..

do you know how much it means to a child when you offer your hand to hold his or hers?

had you seen how that frowning face instantly blossoms?

if you need a warm big hug, you might want to try ask for one even at the most unsuitable occasion, you'll be surprised when you see the look in the others' faces.
