Deception

what is deception?

how to identify deceptions?

i was watching the movie deception awhile ago and was googling for an image. and i so happen to stumble upon this image picturing Deception.

i like it. it means something and that something is still deceiving. i don't really understand completely the message in the picture so i hope someone can share with me.

is it delusion? is it a mask most people use to mislead others to think otherwise of them? is it for self protection or for unethical selfish intentions or purposes?

checking from the dictionary it is connected to the terms such as mislead, deceit, trick, ruse, dishonesty, cunning, duplicity, etc..

then is branding a form of deception too?

reminds me of my business ethics class on the marketing topic.. is advertising unethical? hmm.. i didn't study into it though.. i was worried it might change my mind about the beauty of advertisements and branding..

makes me wonder what's the next step i should take in life after my current accounting degree..

should i opt for money, lifestyle, or pure interest?

can i opt for all? how so? nothing is certain afterall..

we are risking our lives everyday as we live working for something because of the merits and opportunities of a better day ahead. somewhat similar to the idea of investments on risk and returns.. hmm..

can you devise a system that exploits the better return opportunities with a lower risk? haha! i guess that's what the american financial experts did when they invented all those complicated financial instruments and systems that now gets them into nasty mess.. you can't cheat death afterall.. haha! who knows you might be able to but there must be sacrifices made. lol! okay enough of that. let's not complicate or confuse readers. (if i happen to still have any.. >_< hehe.. =P)

i'm thinking of furthering my studies.. coz i don't think i was studying all these while.. used to hate brokers coz i think they are just money seekers as they hunt for corporate loopholes where they can find ways to snatch a bunch out of them.. lol! aren't brokers supposed to be genuinely interested in helping potential companies to gather capital to expand and then prosper together as a whole? somehow broker-wannabes that i happen to encounter are just people who are looking for fast and easy money. i despise them in a way.. it makes me feel like they are snatch-thieves.. they make no economical good and now the economies of the entire world collapse all because of their nasty behaviors.. we suffer because of their misbehaviors of taking personal advantages at others' expenses..

humans suck in a way.. will i too become a culprit coz i too am a bad human.. hmm..

maybe i will end up seeing the world just as realistic as all the rest when i have to compete and fight hard for survival in the intensely competitive working environment.. maybe i'll just hunt for money.. with probably a minimal ability to distinguish moral rights and wrongs.. afterall we all want to appear victorious and admirable.. and money and deceptions that money can buy helps us conceal the bad past and rebuild a stainless tomorrow..

what am i mumbling about here? i'm having a mild headache now..

just wana do some thinking.. this laptop is burning hot.. like a stove oven..

i wonder if there is one field of study that teaches me how to fully understand the businesses' ideas and potentials not by analyzing the financial indexes but the products and services they create, the sustainable growth they raise, the goods they do for the community and etc.. it would be awesome if i can study into the talents and potentials of individual humans too so i can help in the making of awesome leaders or simply amazing individuals who can do outstanding things. afterall i do still believe i'm a dream realizer and if seriously believe in something i can make it happen. so why not invest that into making something really cool and great? at a minimal, maybe that will complement my accounting degree too.. and make me feel more useful as a thinker..

i hate doing repetitive jobs..

good luck people..

i need a break from my lousy laptop..

byebye =P
