A really inspiring movie inspired by real story of a young lady by the name of Liz Murray.
A 16year old girl who lived a torn life with a mom who was a drug addict, alcoholic, had schizophrenia and AIDs; struggled through life alone from little to no education and having to take care of her mum and hanging around people who see no lights in future because there is nobody by their side to encourage and motivate them to live for any purposes.
She made a difference when she lost everything including her mother who she had to babysit and started to make a resolution to work as hard as she can and see what changes she can make to her life. And she made it to the prestigious Harvard University at age 20.
Watch it and i guarantee you will cry. But it is a success story that inspires people to believe in making a difference. =)
