The International
it's all about reality.
how far would you go to stand by your principles?
what's your threshold limit before you might figure otherwise?
there were a couple of lines in the movie that really kept me thinking..
for instance, the capitalist idealist who gave up his ideal and pursue otherwise, i remembered he mentioned something about doing the exact opposite to achieve the final same means..
is that possible?
what's the point of going so far to bring something down when you know it's the man you bring down and not the very existence of the organization or faulty concept that you could interfere with?
would you dedicate your life to something that finally ends you up in despair and lost?
desperation to serve the means or ends..
only to know that you ain't solving any problems but merely living on a purpose you created for your own self.. or probably a purpose somebody else created for you..
had you owned your own life?
had you lived unregretably?
did you make a difference?
did you speak a language others can rhyme or associate with?
had you created a meaning?
had you gained support?
had you not lived alone?
ultimately who are you to those who crossed your life?
does all these matter?
The International..
much better than i expected.
i wasn't expecting anything much before i watched it thanks to the disappointment i got from Eagle Eye which was suppose to portray some kind of genre like this..
if you like Prison Breaks, i bet you'll like The International.
i think it's a brilliant movie. it's a worth watch.
take notice of the lines in the movie. it's insightful..
for instance when the banker speaks of its intention of funding the weaponry in third world countries, it's not because of the intention to control the politics but to create debts and then creating streams of guaranteed future income by the debts.
i'm not exactly sure of the exact statement used and not too sure of how that serves the purpose and if it really is so or simply a way to divert true purpose and misinform the public but that sounded probable.
anyway a solid 4 stars out of 5 for me. good watch. =)
