One of My Reality Show Idea

hey here's some reality check for malaysian reality shows. personally i don't think malaysian reality tvs are doing great coz most malaysians who appear on screen don't appear natural or camera-friendly as compared to the foreign works. i'm not sure if i'm being biased but that's what i think. some of the shows tend to turn me off within secs coz i just can't continue to watch on. maybe malaysians are yet open enough to embrace reality shows. and our community is not open enough as well, which can be detrimental to investments in reality shows locally. i notice that we are slowly progressing better in local reality tv programs thanks to the creative 8tv crews. but i don't think it's very wise to invest in reality programs as yet until we are exposed to seeing the statistical profits reality programs pocket in.

i got a feeling that we can initiate a reality show that feature artistic talents coz these people are usually more daring and creative and that's what reality shows had been focusing on.

the concept is getting visual artists, local painters, advertising talents, music video producers, web designers, cartoonists, special effects crew, fabric designers, cultural ancient and modern artists and many more possible ARTISTIC TALENTS to come together on a show to exhibit their passion for arts. give them themes every week, and let them create waves to lead a culture shock to the public by using whatever skills they have. trust me, this could work out incredible if venture capitalists are willing to spend the initial advertiing to grab the attention of all the best artists locally to come for the audition. you may be impressed there are some extreme talents who are hidden in a corner not discovered. why? you know the answer. malaysia's exotic and multiracial cultural heritage is what made us born with amazing abilities we might not even be aware of.

if you see what i see, this show should provide more benefits in the long run than you may miss out noticing. it should help promote malaysia's culture, people's talents, prevent brain drain, promote more new leaderships in different areas, and much more.

think about it.

the catch? the organizer should give out monetary and human capital for the winner to venture out his or her talents. they should provide more professionals to assist in molding that talent into a leader in the malaysian artistic industry.

just a few more constraints i see in local reality shows. the judges rarely impress the public. i'm not sure if they are professional and wise enough to be judging.. but we do take into account the outspoken ability, celebrity profile, leadership ability, knowledge and wisdom, and the IMAGE of the judges chosen. and perhaps more. you may be amazed how a little defect aspect of the judge can determine the success or failure of the reality program.

anyway this sharing just come in at a split second. so i didn't really organize my thoughts and analysis well before writing. we can discuss further if it's worth thinking about. =)
