Quote of the Day 8

trade off. there's always a cost to getting a benefit. it applies to everything.

eg: if you want others to give you attention, you have got to give others attention too.

question of thought: can we ever produce a formula to a no-cost-benefit? think about it. it may sound like an ideal thought which is impossible. but the best solutions come only after arguably complete understanding. perhaps we can produce such formula to success that can be applied to everything.

there was a statement by a professor saying, "there's no win-win situation in fact but just a 'feeling' of mutual satisfaction." indeed contradictory to what i learned from my text book in management where it never mentioned the depth of a win-win situation as a mere 'feeling' of mutual satisfaction.

i'm keeping the 2 statements in perspective, while polishing my understanding of different things in life. perhaps something will spark me with an otherwise idea that permits both.

at least i noticed 1 Utama's 1CARD introduction has introduced more benefits to both retailers and shoppers than most cards. details next time. =)
